It would seem that has been quite a steep fall in the number of people going out to a DIY store to get their lovely new bathroom design as the internet is often cheaper, easier and better. Why Does This Happen?
No Annoying Salespeople
The one reason that I personally will always do my shopping on the net is because I do not have some idiot breathing down my neck every 5 minutes. The problem is that when you walk into a DIY store it doesn’t matter on what time of day or what you are buying there is always someone there trying to buy you something else. There are people that try and sell you things like toilets when you have gone in for a bit of glue? It is amazing to hear what some of the salespeople actually come up with sometimes.
The best one that has involved me was when I was in a gaming store looking to buy my new Xbox 360. Gaming has and always will be my hobby so you can imagine my reaction when the idiotic salesman was trying to tell me I needed certain things for it when I knew for a fact that I didn’t.
Prices
The prices that are found on the net are much cheaper than the ones in the stores, well more often than not anyway. The great thing about the internet is that if you are looking for something like bath you can look all over the net for the best prices without driving around for hours or looking around the shop for hours for the best deal.
Delivery
DIY deliverymen are usually rude and really don’t give a damn if they scratch or even break your brand new taps and this is something that isn’t great. With a smaller internet business they put pride into every single product meaning they actually care about their customers.
